Azeroth Survivors save location depends on the original client and browser profile; this guide does not claim a universal Windows file path. Return to the same game entry and profile, then use the original Options / Saves export when available. Companion JSON contains plans and manual progress, not recoverable original character data.
Back up through the original game
Use the original game’s Options / Saves controls to export a copy when available. Keep the downloaded file unchanged and label your own copy with its date and source. The public browser bridge hands a text file to the game; it does not establish a public schema or a merge operation.
Before switching a browser or client
Return to the same origin and browser profile if progress appears missing. Browser profiles and different game entrances can use different storage. Do not clear site data or overwrite a destination save before keeping a backup. Cross-client and cross-version recovery have not been tested here.
What this site can restore
A site configuration import restores supported planner data only. A personal JSON export can include your private notes; build links exclude those notes, and gear links include only class, version and target items. We have not verified a universal Windows save-folder path, so no speculative path is presented.
