What does the talent calculator validate?

Start with one class and one reason for spending the next point. The calculator records allocation order as well as final ranks, so a finished 31-point route can be inspected at an earlier checkpoint. A plan that reaches an opening-spell replacement only later is different from starting the run with that replacement already allocated.

Each new row needs five more points spent in the same tree. A required talent must reach its full rank; where the current definition offers two alternatives, either completed alternative satisfies that group. Separate capstone and flagged choices can exclude each other. Removing an earlier point can therefore invalidate a later step. Review the ordered route after editing rather than checking only the total.

A readable Warrior reference

These are current first-rank facts, not a recommended optimal route. The default Warrior opening spell is Cleave. Use the editor above to select another class; this reference remains available without JavaScript. Rows below are numbered from zero, and the maximum rank is the number of allocatable points in that node.

Version and evidence boundary

The current reference uses original client 0.131.0, build e7d9dd47. Static definitions and selected menu comparisons establish the named fields. They do not establish a combat benchmark, a guaranteed random drop or a successful purchase. Historical 0.125.0 information appears only inside an identified historical reference.

Azeroth Survivors talent calculator · questions

Can I save and share a talent calculator build?

Yes. Keep a local draft, export JSON, copy a versioned build link or download PNG. Public build links omit private notes; personal JSON can retain notes.

How many points and planned spell slots are available?

The current reference allows at most 51 talent points and six spell slots. Select your actual point budget; the checkpoint shows a prefix of the recorded route, not points earned by this site.

Why is a talent blocked even after its row opens?

A row opens every five points spent in its tree, but checked prerequisites require the earlier talent’s full rank. Alternatives can use OR. Mutually exclusive choices still cannot be combined.

Why did my required starting spell change?

Some talents grant another opening skill; others replace the default. The planner follows explicit current starting-ability fields. If a grant would exceed six planned skills, remove an optional choice before adding it.

What happens to a version 0.125.0 draft?

The old record remains separate. Review a copy against current rules before saving. A route that no longer satisfies prerequisites is refused; the original can still be exported.

What does the A/B comparison measure?

It lists differences in selected talent ranks for the same class. It does not simulate combat, predict DPS or prove which build clears a zone.
