Know what your plan is built on.

The free Azeroth Survivors gear planner keeps owned, equipped and target items separate. Choose an item, a target star from 1 to 5 and an explicit qualifying-class count for a single-step quote. Manual budget entries stay separate; missing prices remain unknown.

Reference client v0.131.0 (e7d9dd47), checked 31 Oct 2026. Primary-checked fields are labeled; historical v0.125.0 values stay separate. See Sources & method for coverage.

Ownership, equipment and targets are separate

Mark a piece as owned only when it exists in your current game collection. Equipped means you are using that owned piece; a target is a desired future state. Adding a target does not grant its effects. This distinction keeps an attractive end build from being mistaken for the equipment available in the next run.

For a star upgrade, enter the target star and the eligible completed sets from other classes explicitly. The original price rule applies a discount for other-class eight-piece armor sets at that target star, up to its cap. Heroic completion of both source zones, ownership and available Marks are separate requirements. The calculator shows a price, not permission to buy.

Current Common Warrior collection sample

These base, unupgraded records show how a missing-piece target is read. Source quality is not star count. The Worn Claymore has two final-boss sources; the directory base chance does not guarantee a drop on the next kill. Exact modifiers and observed UI rounding are separate from any star bonus.

Version and evidence boundary

The current reference uses original client 0.131.0, build e7d9dd47. Static definitions and selected menu comparisons establish the named fields. They do not establish a combat benchmark, a guaranteed random drop or a successful purchase. Historical 0.125.0 information appears only inside an identified historical reference.

Azeroth Survivors gear planner · questions

Are owned, equipped and target items different?

Yes. Owned records possession and stars; equipped chooses one owned piece per slot; targets are future goals. A target is not automatically owned or equipped.

Does a star quote include earlier upgrades?

No. It quotes the single purchase to the selected target star. A fifth-star quote is not the total cost from zero to five stars.

Which other classes count toward the discount?

Count another class only when all eight armor slots of the same quality are owned at this target star or higher. Each eligible class gives 5%, up to 40%; the current class is excluded.

Why can Common one star remain one Mark after a discount?

With one qualifying other class, the raw price is 0.95. The current client rounds upward to a tenth with its recorded tolerance, so the quote remains 1 Mark; two classes give 0.9.

Why is Common five stars thirty Marks?

At target star five, quality groups zero through three use unit cost six. With no qualifying other class, five times six gives 30 Marks for that step.

Does a calculated price prove the upgrade is unlocked?

No. Ownership, the class’s Heroic unlock and affordability are separate checks. Unknown set counts stay unknown, and the quote panel never silently overwrites your manual budget.
